Thank your for your inspiring entry on scheduling! You're right! God IS the God of order. I cannot expect progress without a plan. No planning is planning to fail(to progress).

Plan your work and work your plan. It's a principle that I first learned working as an engineer. It was the method we used to reach our goal, so and complete our projects. I've lived by this for many years, and when we do not follow this principle in our school day we do not accomplish anything. Sal

It worked out for us to do two lessons a week (the lessons are very gentle and short). We read the lesson, looked at the plant examples he gave in the chapter on the internet (you can find anything out there) and drew and wrote a lot about what we observed and how it applies to our lives and what it teaches us about God. I made our own plans but Ms. Dang also has lessons for the book. There was an outline the notes Lindsay sent me from her conference.

Yea! It's so fun to look back and see all the progress. My dd loves to look at her notebook and see what she learned. At the end of our year we will do a Providence Project--something the NP suggested that I fell in love with. That will be our last two weeks of most subjects.
