This year marks Oklahoma's centennial celebration, and there is no shortage of excitment here in the Sooner State. One interesting event is happening right her in Tulsa tonight---the unveiling of Miss Belvedere.

She is a 1957 Plymouth gold and white two-door with a hard top. She was wrapped and buried 50 years ago with a time capsule. She was resurrected at noon today, and tonight at the civic center she will be unwrapped and given to the winner of the population contest (the entrants are on microfiche inside the car). The winner is the entry closest to 382, 457.

 People have come from all over the country and all over the world to see this event. It seems to be quite a spectacle. See the unearthing of Miss Belvedere here.
